The Restaurants - Seminyak Italian, The Plantation Grill
Seminyak Italian Food is a modern trattoria overlooking Double-Six Beach. Seminyak Italian Food marries Italian classics with best of the season produce. One of renowned artist Stephen Ormandy’s murals is emblazoned on a wall within the restaurant and on the roof a Justine Missen graphic plots Marchetti’s journey from his home town in Italy to Double-Six Beach. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Robert Marchetti The Plantation Grill is a throwback to the glamour of the Prohibition era of twenties-style luxury with marble finishes, a vaulted double-height ceiling and huge glass windows looking out to the sea. Guests are introduced to the venue via a beautiful spiral staircase which leads them down to luxurious leather booths. The restaurant’s specialty is dry aged, exclusively sourced and imported meat and line-caught sustainable seafood cooked over custom made coal and wood grills and wood-fired ovens.
The Rooms
The generously sized suites invite guests to stay in and have a good night’s rest on the exclusively designed King Koil bed. Each of the suites has its own balcony with seating, offering fresh air and enjoyment while sitting outside.
Inside, gather together in the wide couch and sprawl while watching your favourite channel from the 42 inch flat screen tv or simply sit back, listening to your favourite tunes via the sound dock while sipping on one of the not so mini bar beverage selection or enjoying delicious bites from in room service. The Bars - Double Six Rooftop, Lagoon Bar, Sling Bar
Double Six Rooftop sits atop the hotel, 15 meters above sea level, with stunning views over Seminyak’s Double Six Beach. Covering 1700 square meters, it is one of the world’s largest rooftop bars. Guests can enjoy locally inspired cocktails while listening to international entertainment acts and relax in 'floating' pods or private areas whilst looking out to sea.
Lagoon Bar, situated at the front of the hotel, nestled into the meandering 120-meter pool and Double Six Beach, is a place of pure relaxation for in-house guests. A gelato cart serving house-made gelato and sorbet keeps guests cool, and a custom menu runs all day long for poolside dining.
Sling Bar, located at the top of the spiral staircase in The Plantation Grill, is a racy Martini bar open until the late hours and serves a collection of the finest Martini concoctions, dark spirits and an extensive Whiskey list. Guests can sit at the bar or seat themselves in a number of cozy hideaway spots. Groups wanting privacy can even enjoy the ‘Boudoir’ accessed through a secret door.
